I'm Andrew Havemann, and Being a Better Leader is where I think out loud about the actual work of leading — the decisions that keep you up at night, the cultures that make or break a team, and the difference between managing people and genuinely bringing out the best in them.

I write from experience, not theory. Everything here is grounded in real situations: the ones that went well, the ones that didn't, and what I took from both.
